NICE DAY
50 Word Thursdays # 65

“Looks beautiful out there,” Meg said.
“Looks can be deceiving,” Lev replied.
Meg sighed. Lev was right. We see what the government wants us to see. She laughed.
“What’s so funny?” Lev asked.
“Tomorrow is the promise of a new day, a clean slate. Yet we both know the truth.”
