THE EGG
Those eggs must be special. Kids hunted for them every year.
“Mom, I want to go on the egg hunt, Molly said.
“Absolutely not. You know humans are afraid of us. If they see you, we’re all in grave danger.”
“But Mom.”
“I said no. Now go to your room. We’ll go out later and get you something.
“But—”
“Now.”
“Fine.” She stormed out.
Later they went out, but Molly found nothing.
The next morning she looked out the window, and there it was. Bright pink, shining in the sunlight. Elated, she ran and grabbed it. Her egg.

Thank you, Sneha. The little mouse looks so happy because she got the egg.
I know!
I saw that picture and immediately thought of the Easter cards we bought a long time ago that our husbands didn’t find amusing. I don’t know about you, but I still think it was hilarious.
Staci, I think of that card often, and I still laugh. I can’t understand why they weren’t amused. I remember us laughing so hard on the store.
Such a sweet little story.
Thanks, Craig.
