Cicero called to awaken the monster. The Kraken stirred. The sea creatures scattered. He turned and stared at the girl. Blindfolded and bound to the rock, God help him for what he did. Amstra would be the sacrifice to keep his people safe. He prayed for her and his people.
This weeks phrase: “The Kraken stirs. And ten billion sushi dinners cry out for vengeance.” Good Omens, Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaiman
This story was written for the 50 word Thursday challenge, this week hosted by Teresa , The Haunted Wordsmith.
Give it a try. You might be surprised at what you can compose.
