Here is the photo for this week’s Stock Photo Challenge:
Gregg took Lisa to Stone Valley and showed her the small house at the back edge of the property. He knew she’d love it.
Once they decided to get married, getting a house with a big yard was something they discussed.
“I saw this place and thought we should check it out. The owner wants to sell, and this is perfect for us.”
“Oh, Gregg. I’m not sure we can afford this.”
Gregg smiled. The property was in his family for centuries. It would be theirs. No mortgage. But the land came with conditions. Another secret he’d kept from her.
This story is prompted by Don Massenzio’s stock photo challenge.

We all have our little secrets. Gregg simply has more than most of us. Glad you enjoyed it.
Love it, Michele. Great work 🙂
Thanks, Harmony. Glad you did.
Those darned secrets.
And everybody has one. Thanks, Craig.
Oooh, that would make great fodder for a longer story. Loved it!
Thanks, Mae. What will happen when Lisa learns his secrets? Time will tell.
Great job, Michele.
Thanks, Don. I enjoy your challenges.
A fabulous response, Michele. You and I have both gone creepy with this prompt.
I love a good thriller. Thanks, Roberta.
