The rules that Linda’s made for herself (but don’t always follow) for “One-Liner Wednesday” are:
- Make it one sentence.
- Try to make it either funny or inspirational.
- Use our unique tag #1LinerWeds.
- Add our lovely badge to your post for extra exposure!
- Have fun!
This story is prompted by Linda G. Hill’s One-Liner Wednesday.

It’s all about the sales, isn’t it? 🙂
So true. To make matters worse, I took those photos in August. Even more than that, there are no Thanksgiving decorations at all. How sad.
That is sad! Pretty soon the stores will have Christmas in JUly!
And immediately after Christmas we get Valentine’s stuff!
I know. It’s sad that we can’t even enjoy the holidays as they come, we have to have the next one rammed down our throats.
There was a store in my area setting up Halloween and Christmas decorations on July 2nd. I was appalled.
Good one, Michele!
I do agree. I would like to celebrate one holiday at a time. And preferable the holiday it is supposed to be.
I see things like that when I’m out shopping and I feel off-kilter. One holiday at a time, please.
I agree. One holiday at a time.
Christmas in October is a bit much.
I don’t understand why we feel the need to rush the season.
