Stock Photo Challenge

Don Massenzio will post a new stock photo each week on Wednesday morning.

• You mission, should you choose to accept it, is to write a story, poem, or other type of prose of 100 words or less and post it on your blog.
• If you leave the link for your blog post in the comments of his post, he will share it on his blog.

Here is the photo for week 4 of the Stock Photo Challenge:

Bol and Zpal were charged with finding an inhabitable new planet as Xtrania would soon cease to exist. Their research led them to Earth.

With only hextons left, they needed to depart immediately. A small craft was packed with necessary supplies and they embarked on their mission.

After landing and hiding their ship, they acclimated to their new climate and assumed human form. They only had two decons to assimilated and gather data.

“It’s time,” Bol said. They reported to council. “This planet will sustain our people.”

“Excellent. Return at once so Xtrania may prepare for inhabitation.” The transmission ended.
