This weeks phrase: “Fooling, fooling, too much fooling.” (Astrid Lindgren, Pippi Longstocking)
Brandon waited years to make his debut, watching his father and grandfather play to the audience. Now it was his turn.
He took the stage and performed, expecting applause for his act.
Instead they jeered him and chanted, “Fooling, fooling, too much fooling.”
Not the words he’d longed to hear.
Give it a try. You might be surprised at what you can compose.
Leave a comment. I’d love to hear from you.

Ah, poor guy. Cute story! 🙂
Thank you. It’s hard to play the fool.
Every performer’s worst nightmare. 🙂
Yes, it certainly is. Thanks for stopping by.
Poor Brandon. I hope that doesn’t turn him off from his career as a performer.
Nice microfic, Michele!
Thanks, Mae. I think he will be fine. As they say, life is a stage.
