This weeks phrase: “Funny little thing, aren’t you?” Chris Hall, A Sextet of Shorts
They wanted to meet but couldn’t risk being caught. Kermit knew his family wouldn’t approve, and neither would Panther’s. Why couldn’t they get along?
Kermit started across the rope. As planned, Panther met him in the middle.
Funny, isn’t it? Their families hated each other, yet they remained best friends.
Give it a try. You might be surprised at what you can compose.
Leave a comment. I’d love to hear from you.

Cute!
Thanks. The picture was cute.
I love old cartoons and it made me laugh when I found it on pixabay.
Me too. We watched the Muppets and the Pink Panther when I was young. It’s sad they don’t repeat them. We couldn’t wait for Saturday morning to sit and watch them. It was a real treat.
Cute story. I do love the photo too. Its bright, vibrant, and matches the feel of the story.
Thank you. That picture was fun to write about.
Cute one, Michele.
I know you didn’t choose the photo, but it was nice seeing characters from my childhood.
Staci, I agree completely. The children today have no idea what they are missing.
A cute story. The Muppets and The Hundred Acres Woods meeting in the middle! If only the rest of the world could manage it. 🙂
Wouldn’t that be nice. Too bad people don’t think that way.
That was wholly delightful! I was a huge Pink Panther fan back in the day 😉
Thanks, Mae. We were too. I remember waiting up to see the Muppets. I loved the grumpy old men.
This sweet!
Thanks, Susan. It was a fun prompt.
It sure was 🙂
