New #ShortStory: Adopted @vocal_creators
Adopted is my poetry piece for the Vocal Media Challenge, Homecoming. This challenge is about what home means. I did this from the perspective of my Scottie, Abagail. She was not a part of our plan when we decided to adopt a dog for our family. But somehow, she found her way in.

This week’s theme is homecoming. We are to share a poem inspired by what “home” means. If you’d like to read my take on the prompt (Adopted), you can find it here. Don’t forget to click that [♡] button.

Thanks, Harmony. Abbey did make her presence known.
That was so sweet, Michele. I love that Abbey got to go home with Maggie. I’m glad you softened and gave her a forever home. She looks so happy in that photo!
Thanks, Mae. I’m glad I did too. We renamed Maggie to Tristen. They are both spoiled.
Forgot to say I gave you a heart!
Very appreciated.
I’m a sucker for an animal story. I left a heart over there.
